Mashpee Commons’ Annual Halloween Event

The magic and mayhem of Mashpee Commons’ annual Halloween extravaganza! Scheduled for Saturday, October 28th, this day-long celebration promises a cauldron full of fun, free activities tailored for families and friends alike. Kicking things off at 11 AM, the event will be a spectacle of spooky delights right on the Village Green. Attendees can look forward to dancing their monster mashes away with tunes from DJ Stephanie Viva, marvel at balloon twists, and enjoy special performances, including a Thriller dance performance by the New England Ballet Theater. The day is dedicated to delivering an unforgettable experience for all ages, where the spirit of Halloween comes vibrantly to life. Children can also join in on a costume parade, showing off their spooky, funny, or creative outfits as they march through Mashpee Commons for some extra Halloween magic.

Details

Highlighting the afternoon is a parade at 1 PM, inviting anyone and everyone to strut their Halloween best, led by the vivacious Mashpee Public School Marching Band. But that’s not the only way to show off your Halloween creativity; the Dog Costume Contest hosted by Hot Diggity offers a chance for your furry friends to shine. For those looking to be spellbound by illusions, Marcus The Magician from The Magicompany will be performing a spectacular 45-minute magic show at 2 PM in Central Square by Red Balloon Toy. Shops around the Commons will be part of the trick-or-treating adventure until 6 PM, welcoming guests with “Trick or Treat Here” posters for sweet treats. Plus, don’t miss the chance to partake in the Costume Photo Contest by sharing your spooky or creative costumes on Instagram with the tag #mashpeecommons for a chance to win one of four $50 MC gift cards. In case the weather decides to play tricks, fear not; the party will move indoors, ensuring the parade’s spirit continues, albeit in a different form.
